interview with @worldinbricks

Hi my names Dave and I’m a Lego addict… I’m an afol from Milton Keynes in the UK and a married dad of three and from Milton I work for the NHS and do Lego photography as a hobby

2.  Describe your account in 3 words.. Complete minifigure fun
3. What made you start an instagram page?.  To have somewhere to showcase my photos

4. How often are you on instagram?
Im on Instagram daily, I try to post at least one photo a day but sometimes life gets busy so I might go a day or two where I don’t post
5. How long have you been doing your account?
My Instagram has been going for about 4-5 years now and I’ve also got a Facebook page, Twitter account and tik-tok for my World in Bricks

6.  Where do you get your ideas from?
I get ideas several ways, sometimes I might see something on the tv that will give me an idea or a picture in a magazine, or I’ll see something from another Lego photographer which will inspire me to an idea, other times it’s just me thinking what I would find comical or setting that would make a nice photo
7. Whats your favourite lego set that you own?
My favourite set I own has to be the home alone house for several reasons, the sense of nostalgia to my childhood it bought back to me when building it was fantastic and the build itself has loads of great touches and little details, as well an abundance of tributes to the film.

8.  What's your favourite Lego minifigure?
I have far too many favourite minifigures to mention but at the minute I have enjoyed using Animal from the recent muppets minifigure cmf for a few photos

9.  How many minifigures do you own?
I probably own around 2000 minifigures in total from City, DC, Marvel, Star Wars and CMF series
10. If you could build anything out of lego what would it be?
If we are talking no limits on bricks then it would have to be a full size detail version of every marvel character in endgame

11.   What's you favorite Lego theme?
I love the characters from the marvel series especially the marvel what if CMF series they released recently

12. Whats the first lego set you owned?
It was one of the Benny the spaceman sets many moons ago but I can’t remember which one.
