todays interview with @garloh_around_the_world

Hi,
I'm from Valdobbiadene, a small village in the Northern Italy (near Venice) famous for wine production.

I'd like to describe my account as funny, humoristic, for all (because of the theme and the quality of the pictures). In fact I want to share the message that everybody can become a Lego photographer.
I opened my page in 2020 during the first quarantine: I had in mind this idea to connect Lego and photography and finally had enough time to do that. And during that period I grew up a lot as instagrammer and as photographer.
At first the idea was to share the adventures of my small minifig, but than while growing the city, I started to shot my city too and other minifigs.

I try to publish at least three times per week, but I'm daily active to chat with new friends, leave a like, comment and share posts. I had the chance to meet many people from all over the world and even physically meet some.
I get ideas from "the real world": by looking around, taking inspiration by watching a film... it even depends on the day: Is it a sunny day? Let's shot outdoor! Is it raining? Better stay inside and build up a small set with a single minifig.

My favourite set is the new police station 10278: I also received a light kit for free to test it and this gave a brilliant new light to the building 😍

Whos your favourite minifigure?
Ohhh, I have many... but if I have to choose only one: the graduate, because it really represents me, my studies and my life.

How many minifigures do you own?
My city has a population of more than 400. between registered and not 🤣

My dream is to build a hospital in modular building style: I'd love to fit it in the city. At the moment in fact I'm missing a hospital and don't know how to heal my minifigs!
Have you been to legoland?
Yes, I've been once in 2018 in Billund. It was my bachelor degree present 😍

My fave Lego theme is the Creator Expert line with modular buildings: looking forward the Boutique Hotel. But I also like the City theme for the small details to add in the city.

My very first set was the police station 2005 7237: I still have it built and in the city. I'll never break it down because it's a part of my childhood.
